Liverpool striker Lewis Koumas has signed a new long-term contract with the club and will spend the 2024-25 season on loan at Stoke City. The 18-year-old, who made his senior debut for Liverpool last season, has committed to a new deal at Anfield before embarking on a season-long loan move to the Championship side.
Koumas joined Liverpool from Tranmere Rovers as an U11 player and had a notable 2023-24 season. He was part of Liverpool's Carabao Cup-winning squad and scored on his professional debut in an FA Cup match against Southampton. This summer, Koumas was involved in pre-season activities, including friendlies against Preston North End and Real Betis.
Stoke City, starting their Championship campaign today with a home game against Coventry City, will benefit from Koumas’s talent and potential throughout the season.
